LADY GAGA AND HER SONGS ...

A friend of mine sent a message which talked about the hidden meaning of Lady Gaga's Alejandro, it's not the whole song but rather the chorus alone. The message was this: "ALEJANDRO means man's defender and protector (GOD), FERNANDO means ardent of peace (JESUS), ROBERTO means bright or shining flame (HOLY SPIRIT), BABE is the same as CHILD. Now try to read this: 'Don't call my name, Don't call my name. I'm not your child. I'm not your child, Jesus. Don't call my name. Don't call my name, Holy Spirit. God, just let me go."

I was shocked, but not that surprised because I already have a hint or idea about Lady Gaga and some of her song itself. But I'm still curious and I want to validate if the meaning of those names were true as stated in the message I received. I just want to find out what's the meaning of Alejandro the name itself, not the whole song but when I researched on it, what pop out was this one, the occult meaning of Lady Gaga's Alejandro.

I just inserted the link of the said article (at the end of this blog) that I have read about this occult meaning of the song. I want the readers to discover this by themselves and of course I don't want to copy the article to avoid plagiarism.

Note: I'm not doing this or posting this blog because I am against Lady Gaga, actually everybody became a victim of what music industry is bringing to us, as well as with Lady Gaga. I'm not either against her or in favor of her. I just want to warn the people to be aware on what kind of music, videos, movies, or television program we're listening or watching to respectively. We can be hypnotize or enslave on what we're listening and watching. Remember, evil has its own way to deceive us, he will offer what seems to be good in our taste, in our ears and in our eyes and suddenly we are already trapped on his schemes.

Be aware for we're on the last days...

Of Bowling and 9 Kilo Balls

As this will be my last entry in this blog, I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to make it a little personal.

Tonight, I went bowling in Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall in Cainta, Rizal. The fee was 80 Php per head for one game, plus 20 Php for shoe rental.

Even though it was something I really wanted to try, I was skeptical because even though it looked easy, I knew it was anything but. I thought that because it was my first time playing, it would be enough of an excuse to play poorly. But the competitive atmosphere in the bowling alley caught up with us and before long, we were bowling like we’ve been doing it all our lives.

Of course, there were those times when the ball just couldn’t resist veering towards the gutter, but it was a good first game for us.

It was intimidating being surrounded by pros who held 15-kilo balls while ours were only 9 kilos. But we didn’t care. We were too busy laughing at ourselves to notice, and needless to say, we had the time of our lives.

And, did I forget to say that it’s a very good sport?

A Cultural Awakening on the Horizon?

The Philippines seems to be getting back to its roots.

Declared by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) as its Culture Capital this 2010 to 2011, the country will be hosting the 4th ASEAN Festival of Arts (AFA) which aims to highlight the creativity of ASEAN nations and promote exchange of ideas among the best artists from ASEAN countries.

Themed The Best of the ASEAN: From Ancestral Roots to New Artistic Routes of Expression Mobilizing Cultural Diversity for the UN MDGs, the festival will showcase the best works in the chosen field of arts by ASEAN members.

In this modern day and age, culture and arts are slowly becoming extinct. With the advent of technology upon us, people are turning to computers and gadgets for entertainment rather than foster and enrich cultural traditions.

Being chosen as the Cultural Capital of ASEAN, the country must continue if not put more effort into promoting its identity and amazing cultural diversity. The Philippines is never lacking when it comes to rich tradition, culture and talent, another reason to be proud of who we are.

Unfortunately, we being a developing country, one might argue that there are far more important tasks at hand. That’s why culture is not given much attention as industrialization, perhaps.

With the opening of the 4th ASEAN Festival of Arts is the hope that the country will finally realize the importance of revitalizing and strengthening our culture, a gift for future generations to come.

Colorful Philippines

"Sipag at Tiyaga", "Laban na tapat Laban ng lahat", "Galing. Talino.Para sa mabilis na pag-ahon", "Tunay at Tapat na Nagmamahal sa Masang Pilipino", "Good governance", "Para sa tunay na pagbabago"

Every candidate established their plans through their slogans that will help them be recognized. These slogans are seen since campaign period started or even if its not started yet. Together with their slogans, presidential candidates also established their color codes.

Philippines today is fashionably colorful because of the candidates color coding. Presidentiables are connected in their color codes. Does their color code will be the color of the philippines?

Orange, yellow, green or a combination of red and blue?which do you prefer?

Acording to Color wheel pro these are the meaning of the colors.
Orange combines the energy of red and the happiness of yellow. It is associated with joy, sunshine, and the tropics. Orange represents enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement, and stimulation.
Yellow is the color of sunshine. It's associated with joy, happiness, intellect, and energy.
Green is the color of nature. It symbolizes growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility. Green has strong emotional correspondence with safety. Dark green is also commonly associated with money.

Blue is the color of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven.

It would be fun to have a colorful election or even a colorful Philippines. So choose very well, what will be the philippines proclaimed color of the year.

Pan de Amerikana

I had the pleasure of dining recently at Pan de Amerikana, a very nice place in Marikina which offers authentic 1950’s Pan de sal. And boy, are they HUGE! At only five pesos apiece, you’re sure to get your money’s worth.

The best part about the restaurant though, is the atmosphere and the ambiance it offers. It features a unique garden setting complete with waterfalls, a treehouse, a ropebridge, small ponds, antique wood benches and tables, tropical rain forests and wishing wells.

A very nice touch also is the tables which are etched with chessboards. You only have to leave an ID in order to borrow chess pieces and you can play for free!

Pan de Amerikana is truly a wonderful dining experience, it has a wide variety of Filipino dishes and its creatively designed interior will surely leave you coming back for more.

Jpop, Kpop, Ppop??

Different countries, with different cultures and languages are invading the Philippines music chart. Lot of Filipinos’ hearts are captured by the Korean and Japanese pop music. These past few years, Korean and Japanese telenovelas are very hit in the Philippine television. Even the fashion trend Korean and Japanese celebrities are followed by their Filipino fans.

And now, even the popular music in the Philippines is replaced by their pop music. Because of the large number and even larger number of fans of kpop and jpop in the country, the top music channel in the Philippines, myx has made an exclusive segment of kpop and jpop music lovers.

Korean pop music and the Japanese pop music are very known these days. Pop music is any genre of music having wide appeal on the audience. Many people are singing kpop and jpop without knowing the meaning of the lyrics. Even the language is different; people are still in at their music because of the beat or melody.
Popular music isn’t a particular type of music; it can be anything that the people will love to listen. As we are in the Philippines, we are usually associated with different music from other countries.

Hit charts in the country are invades by different pop music from different artist from the Different sides of the world, and now Asians are making their name in the music industry in the world. Just like any music, kpop and jpop will be soon left out and will be replaced by another type of music.
When will be the Ppop invades the world?
